Last week, Jim Nash, our County Water Resources Commissioner, gave a presentation at Berkley Public Library on Water Infrastructure.

While the snow is falling today, spring is right around the corner. Road repairs, city festivals, and public art are among the things we can look forward to. I also have information for people in need of help and new legislation that should help curb the litter from the "pink bag" newspapers, among other updates.

I've had some folks reach out to me who are concerned about what it means for recreational marijuana to be coming to Berkley. I want to share some of my thoughts and some resources.

If you are struggling financially, Oakland County has a number of free programs that might be of help.

On Monday night City Council discussed public art, road repairs, public notices, the pink bag news papers, the Downtown Design Guidelines, and as always, Marijuana.

City staff have made their recommendations for road repairs for 2020 and 2021, and the recommendation is.... city wide!

Despite efforts to allow people to opt-out, and assurances from their management concerning their cooperation, the Free Press Select seems unable or unwilling to fulfill opt-out requests.

2019 was a busy year for Berkley and 2020 looks to be the same. I wanted to reflect on some of the big things that have happened and what we have to look forward to.

I'd like to share some updates on the road working coming to 12 Mile this summer.
